A customer traveled to Asia and had some interesting feedback on our Gluten Free cards. Here is what she said:
"Hi,
Some feedback: in Asia, people often misunderstand the picture of wheat as rice. The two plants look very similar and a rice plant is what they'd more commonly see. If there could be a more detailed picture of the wheat grain rather than the whole wheat stalk, that would be better for this part of the world.
Your cards have been keeping me safe for years of international business travel--thank you!"
I wrote the customer back saying that we were not aware that the rice plant looked similar to the wheat plant and that the picture of wheat on our gluten free and wheat allergy cards would be confused as rice. We are still researching the best way to represent this.
